Institutionally taught in 2018 by the University of Alaska Southeast Outdoor Studies & Leadership program, the four limb movement has changed Keegans perspective on sport, teamwork, and problem solving. As a new life long activity, a shift in physical and spiritual connection completed a second circle of life.
Taught in an awe inspiring setting, Keegan began his climbing journey at Juneau’s local sea cliff crags. Within a few hours he discovered the focus & stillness climbing offered. From there, a spark was generated and his journey was ignited.

Cragging oceanside, Juneau ignited developed an ember that is my backbone.

Ascent of the NE ridge with partner Aaron. Beautiful summit, even better view. The Purple Mountains at its finest.

Ascent and descent via the climbers trail. Got stuck in a cloud on the summit, when it dissipated it opened up to gorgeous San Juan views.

Unsuccessful summit. We fell one pitch short and turned back due to weather.

My first of the 50 classic climbs in North America. The hardest rock climbing I have ever done.
