Little Pine White Pine
White Pine and Little Pine are among the most renowned and sought-after lines in the Wasatch region. Whether one is driving up Little Cottonwood Canyon, gazing skyward, or embarking on a hike from their adjacent trails, these lines command attention, standing prominently along the Big Cottonwood Ridgeline.
I rode each if the lines within a single week, providing a distinct experience in Little Cottonwood Canyon. One memorable ride took place after a early morning workout at The Sect, where the thrill of descent Little Pine was well earned.
These moments spent riding White Pine and Little Pine capture the essence of what makes the Wasatch Mountains so captivating and cherished by outdoor enthusiasts.
The ride down the Little Pine chute was nothing short of fantastic. The snow conditions were ideal and provided an exhilarating top-to-bottom experience. I carved my way down top to bottom, having my quadriceps feel the strained but leaving them pleasantly exhausted—a sensation I both adore and yearn for.
Following the incredible ride down Little Pine, I found myself drawn back to the mountains later that same week, eager to ride the neighboring line, White Pine. The week was taking on a rhythm of tag, bag, and move one.
